Blaupunkt recommended the LAB 202 for radio receivers, especially its Salerno model. Car radios became the company’s key product. Soon, customers only asked about headphones marked in this way and that is why in 1938 the blue dot (in German Blaupunkt) became the symbol of the brand and the official name of the company.
